I need my privacy

Well I've decided to make my blog private. I've read too many articles about people's private things being comprimised over the Internet and it's made me a little hesitant about all these public things. So I will give it a few days so any of you that read my blog and want an invite can let me know. If I have your email I'll be sending you an invite, but there are a lot of emails I don't have so leave me a comment on here or on Facebook if you have it.

The Dragon

There once lived a dangerous giant dragon and one day he escaped from his cave and came right into the castle. Two brave knights named Jaylee and Kinley took their magic swords and sought him out to slay him. Occasionally when backup was needed their cousin Cobree and little brother Rance came to help them take the dragon down. Through their brave efforts they eventually caught the dragon and attacked him. Then with a magic kiss from Jaylee he came back to life as a good nice dragon.....who still liked to tickle and tease them and chase them around the house sometimes for fun.

Princess knight Kinley with her magic sword that she found in Grandma's kitchen cupboard; it's so amazing, it can also be used to clean dishes (that is until it got destroyed while slaying the dragon).
"There's the dragon!"

"ROOAAR!!" Kinley says "run away, run away" well I'm sure that's what she meant when she let out a scream of sheer terror mixed with laughter.

"Come out of there dragon" says Jaylee. The dragon was hiding in the bathroom.

Later they found him hiding in a closet. "We got you now dragon"

The knights tried to be brave but didn't dare get too close to the scary dragon. Rance didn't have a sword so he found a shield and hid under it.

Finally the dragon fell and the knights attacked.

They made sure he was dead before they let him go.

But princess knight Jaylee took pity on the poor dragon and gave him a magic kiss to wake him up.....but he had to promise to be a good dragon.

Yay I'm 20 years old

My birthday was on Saturday and Cade took me down to see my family. That was the best birthday present; just to see my family and get to play with my adorable neices and nephew. Cade also bought me the Twilight movie but I haven't even had a chance to watch the whole thing yet (don't worry I saw it in theaters though). We did get one picture of me but since I'm the one usually taking pictures most of the them are of my Jaylee, Kinley, and Rance....and sometimes Cade too. We had such a fun weekend and I'll make another post of the Dragon game in a little bit.

Kinley likes to play foozball....she has to concentrate really hard to score a goal. If you hold your tongue just right you'll score everytime; worked for her anyways.

Grandpa taught Rance how to pull a funny face.

Kinley loves Cade. They are buddies.

Heather (with her new glasses) and Rance. "Cheeeeese"

Jaylee is a puppy about 50% of everyday and she's getting pretty good at scratching her ear with her foot.

Me with the birthday attire at El Mexicano. If I have to wear this to get free fried ice cream I won't complain....fried ice cream is delicious.

Photoshop

I finally downloaded my Photoshop Software to my computer so I'm having lots of fun playing around with it. I'm prety proud of myself for this editing job.....

Notice the chain, hand (in the bottom left corner), and part of the picnic table in this picture.

TaDa....now they are gone and we are left with just good dirt to play in along with a few weeds for color.

Oh ya, I had a great Valentine's Day

I don't have pictures, but believe me I am one spoiled wife. Cade bought me a really pretty sort of antique-ish looking clock with a pendulum. It matches my bedroom colors perfectly and I can't wait to hang it up....we just haven't had time yet. And just when I thought he did such a great job with his gift, he pulled out a little box. Inside was a bracelet and I thought it was so pretty and then he made it even better when he told me they are real diamonds (1/3 karot total) set in sterling silver. I'm still not sure if I should've been mad at him for spending so much though when we don't really have all that much money, but I just couldn't be mad because I love it so much.

However, we did save money by cooking dinner at home instead of going out to eat. I decided I'd rather cook and spend a little extra on his gift than go out to eat. I got him a good looking black polo-type shirt, a new bottle of my favorite-smelling cologne--Lucky You, and a Dallas Cowboys necktie. I was hoping to find a more dressy shirt that could go with the tie, but that didn't work out. Anyways, we had fun and the best thing was that we got to spend lots of time together last weekend with the holiday Monday.

Such Cute Kids

I've decided posts without pictures are not so much fun and I never know what to say. So here's just some cute pictures of the kids.

Jaylee with her daddy's elk antlers. She's almost as tall as them.

Jaylee being an elk using railroad track pieces as antlers. At first she just had one on each side, but then she told me she would "grow bigger" and added anther piece to each side.....she does a great elk call too.

Rance trying to read a book. Forget the kids' books, he's going straight for the novels.

Daddy Jed and Rance comparing tongues......now we see where Jaylee gets her really long tongue, too.

This is my favorite picture of all. He just looks so sweet.

Kinley's 3rd Birthday

Sometimes I wonder what thoughts go through kids' brains.....so here are my interpretations based on what we caught on camera.

Kinley: "How the heck am I going to get this thing open?"
Jaylee: "Don't worry sis, I'm here to help."

Kinley: "Well that was fun, what's next?"

Jaylee: "Sweet, I can't wait to play with this."

Kinley: "Yay, a bear."
Jaylee: "I wanna see too."

Kinley: "Get away from my bike; this is mine."

Kinley: "This is the closest thing you're getting to a smile for the camera."
